Women in Brum

February 11, 2009

I have crowd-sourced ideas for famous Brummie Women (Brimmin), on Twitter.  Some are modern day, fewer are historical characters.

We are really interested in the idea of securing a place in Birmingham’s History for the women who have made the city great.

    Hi Jaki,

I am one of the active Birmingham Feminists. My partner has just informed me that we have been linked! So thank you very much for that. I am really excited to find your website and think that celebrating women in Birmingham is a great idea for a dedicated blog. I would love to know more and be involved if I can, or similarly get you involved with Birmingham Feminists if you are interested.

    Find me on twitter: katieinthehat

    Take care.

Hi Katie, Sorry I didn’t get back in touch, I’m now following you and @bruminist on twitter. I see you’re on holiday, I’ll keep an eye for your return.
